Greeley kicks off the holiday season with their 20th annual Greeley Lights the Night Parade and Park Lighting Ceremony. The parade kicks off Saturday, November 28, at 5:30 p.m. The parade route travels north on 9th avenue from 15th Street to 7th Street and will feature 50 beautifully decorated holiday floats, wonderfully lighted displays, and musical entries piping with the sounds of Christmas. The lighting ceremony takes place in Lincoln Park directly following the parade; enjoy Christmas carols and treats, and Santa will be there getting a head start on his list. There will be an open house preceding the parade from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. This daylong event is sponsored by the Greeley Downtown Alliance and will offer refreshments, activities and the chance to win a grand prize of more than $1000. To enter the parade, contact Sara Schell at 97.352.3567. For more information visit greeleydowntown.com
