Jax Ranch and Home is hosting “Getting your garden ready for winter,” hosted by Laura McLarty, on Saturday, Sept. 17 from 10:30 a.m. to noon.

McLarty will explain fall fertilizing, pruning, mulching and composting. Learn how the cold weather affects your plants and the importance of winter watering. McLarty will also explain how to prepare and amend your garden soil for next spring.

Jax Ranch & Home is at 1000 N. Hwy 287 in Fort Collins.
