The Larimer County Fair Board is now ready to accept nominations for the 2012 Lady-In-Waiting competition during the annual entry held at The Ranch.
The new Lady-In-Waiting will join current Larimer County Fair and PRCA Rodeo Queen, Savannah Martinez, as one of the lead spokespeople for the Fair. The Lady-In-Waiting competition will be held August 5-7 of the Fair and announced during the final performance of the three-night rodeo on August 7.
Applicants may download applications and find more information online at www.LarimerCountyFair.org. The deadline for submitting applications is Monday, July 16 at midnight. There has been a change to the qualifications for the competition, as to where the applicants reside. This year applicants are be eligible if they live in Larimer County or within 15 miles of The Ranch Events Complex, providing they have been a member of 4-H or other horse groups within Larimer County for a period of three years.
