The Larimer County Office on Aging will hold a Veteran’s Forum for Seniors on Wednesday, Jan. 15 from 3-5 p.m. at the Chilson Senior Center, 700 E. 4th Street in Loveland.
A panel of experts will discuss senior veteran’s benefits and answer questions from the audience. Topics include aid and attendance, mental health services, housing and social services support.
According to the Larimer County Office on Aging’s Katy Mason it is important to stay up to date on information as new benefits become available and personal needs change.
“Last time we held this forum the room was packed,” said Mason. “This appears to be an important topic for senior Veterans and their families.” Mason said the age usually considered when you talk about senior benefits for veterans is 60-plus.
To register, call the Office on Aging at 498-7751 by Jan. 13. The event is free.
