The Household Hazardous Waste Facility at the Larimer County Landfill is open to Larimer County residents 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
Household wastes should not be left at the facility when the facility is closed. Business waste is accepted on Wednesdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. by prior appointment by calling 970-498-5771.
The HHW accepts many types of waste such as paint, cleaners, fluorescent lights as well as gasoline in covered containers. In addition, usable products can be obtained from the facility. This service is provided only to Larimer County residents without charge.
