Letter: Loving LaPorte

In response to the December letter “Missing the point — and teeth — in LaPorte,” I’ll take our Crabwell Corners here in LaPorte any day over Hooterville (Red Feather Lakes), although I had to stop and ponder that decision given that Red Feather’s school is apparently well-funded, unlike the other public schools in Colorado and in particular the schools of LaPorte. I just might have to transfer my daughter up to Red Feather, although she is already at Stove Prairie School.

Do know that LaPorte does have a grocery store (not to be confused with Toddy’s), several stellar vet clinics, a hardware store, a Poudre Fire Authority-staffed fire station and a great bike trail system.

Gotta go now as I didn’t know a tatoo and ankle monitor were required to live in these parts. It takes a lot to keep up with the Jones here in Crabwell Corners.
