Editor:
I am writing this letter in support of Tom Donnelly’s for re-election as county commissioner. My name is Gail Meisner and I own a family farm north of Wellington and have been in agriculture and the horse industry my entire live. I serve on the Larimer County Ag Advisory Board, Larimer County Farmers Union and the Bee Family Farm Board.
Tom has proven to me over and over that he has vast knowledge of the needs in both of these industries. Most of all, he has common sense and conservative values. When the Horse Boarding regulations were redone, Tom added some valuable changes that no one else even thought of. I have seen him at the county fair, helping unload steers with the kids. He is not afraid to get down and dirty.
Tom’s farming and professional surveying experience give him the background to assure that Agriculture will continue in Larimer County. Tom was responsible for getting the railroad crossing fixed at Wellington. When he sees something that needs done, he takes action.
Tom is easy to talk to about any issue. He has a great sense of humor and I am proud to call him my friend.
