Our first annual Cache La Poudre Middle School Fall Festival was a wonderful success. It was truly fantastic to see so many children and families having such a great time together.
To this we owe our gratitude to our great community. LaPorte Pizza generously sold us the pizzas at a greatly reduced price. The bags for treats and prizes were donated by Overland Foods and LaPorte Hardware. The Discoe family donated all those lovely pumpkins and gourds that decorated our school and were given away to our festival participants. Thank you Once Again Thrift Store for donating recycled game prizes; they were a lot of fun.
And to our student volunteers that managed game booths, assisted with our bake sale, decorated and cleaned up (from Poudre High School, Cache La Poudre Middle School and even a few from Cache La Poudre Elementary School): You were all a joy to work with — thank you, thank you for your time.
To the adults that stepped up to do the same as our students, our gratitude. To all those that baked all those tasty treats — thumbs up they were delicious.
Lastly, thank you to my outstanding group of parent and community volunteers that planned, organized, and created this festival. What a terrific team! Looking forward to next year and making this a tradition that supports both community and school. Happy Holidays to you all. Your generosity makes this a great place to be and is very much appreciated.
