It’s a quiet time of year at Mishawaka Amphitheatre, overlooking the Poudre River, 13.7 miles up the Poudre Canyon from Ted’s Place. Narrowly escaping damage from fire in 2012 and flood in 2013, “The Mish” was forced to cancel two concerts this fall when Colorado 14 closed due to flood damage.
The full-service restaurant on the site is now open on a winter schedule, serving lunch and dinner 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. The venue will also be open for scheduled concerts during the fall and winter months and will resume a 7-day-a-week schedule May through September 2014, according to assistant manager Alana Rolfe.
