Muzely is a web platform where bands and venues collaborate through social media with music venues. Founded by John Dawes, a composer and music industry professional who grew tired of music technology benefiting the companies that create them, is taking the music industry head-on. The mission: innovate technology that helps artists make a living wage and local music scenes thrive. John says that, “The last option for bands to make a living is getting paid to play live and sell merchandise at shows. Muzely helps artists get more fans to shows, which venues want. When a band is playing an event with other groups, the other groups and the music venue connect their social profiles so all posts about the event cross-pollinate to a combined fan base.” Visit muzely.com to become an early NoCo band or venue tester before full launch in February.
