Camman Fire: New wildfire erupts just south of Eggers School in Cache la Poudre Wilderness

1:14 p.m. update – The #CammanFire is burning south of Highway 14 near the Cache la Poudre Wilderness. Those responding include U.S. Forest Service, Larimer County Emergency Services, and local fire departments. The fire is roughly estimated at three acres. A Single Engine Air Tanker (SEAT), a heavy air tanker, and a heavy helicopter are working the fire.

The Camman Fire is burning south of Highway 14 near or in the Cache la Poudre Wilderness. Jurisdiction is unknown at this time as resources are still responding or just arriving on scene. Those responding include U.S. Forest Service, Larimer County Emergency Services, and local fire departments. The fire is roughly estimated at three acres.

Air Attack is also above the fire ready to coordinate the two helicopters, Single Engine Air Tanker, and lead plane that are on order or in route. Two 20-person crews have also been ordered.
