The Overland Trail Chapter DAR received accolades at the Colorado State Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution state conference held April 26-28 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Denver.
The Overland Trail Chapter received recognition for Outstanding Participation in Commemorative Events; National Defense; Support of Veterans; Katherine Snider for serving as Grand Marshall of Veteran’s Day Parade; Insights regarding Chapter Charter Year needs; Participation in DAR Project Patriot; and Sue Harmon for Service as Overland Trail Chapter Regent. President General Merry Ann T. Wright awarded the Overland Trail Chapter with a certificate of 100 percent participation in the President General’s Project. Congratulations to all the chapter members for a successful first year.
