Flood-relief donations may be dropped off at Points West Community Bank of Wellington, 8100 Sixth St. in Wellington.
“Being located in Wellington with banks in Greeley and Windsor, we feel compelled to help with flood relief. We encourage our clients, the Wellington community and anyone else with the means to help to stop by our bank and make an item donation to support flood relief,” said bank vice president Tom Gillespie.
Donated items will be delivered by the bank to organizations providing support to families affected by the Colorado floods. The bank also will be collecting change and other monetary donations, which it will then donate to the American Red Cross Northern Colorado Chapter.
“We want to make it easy for the Wellington community as well as our customers to provide support to those who need it,” Gillespie said.
