The public is invited to join Save The Poudre and the City of Fort Collins Natural Areas for the Poudre River Flood Clean-up on Saturday Oct. 5, at Lee Martinez Park, N. Sherwood Street in Fort Collins.
Registration is at 8:30 a.m. and the event goes until noon. Volunteers will pick up trash along the Poudre River and bike trail. Garbage bags will be provided. Wear sturdy shoes/boots, long pants, bug repellent and sunscreen and bring water and work gloves. Light refreshments will be provided.
For safety reasons, this year volunteers must be age 18 or over. The event is free. For information, see www.savethepoudre.org or call 970 493-4677.
