Poudre School District announces 2011-12 bus schedules

The Poudre School District 2011-12 Bus Schedules are now available on the PSD Transportation web page at www.psdschools.org and will be available at each school starting Aug. 8.

The PSD Bus Schedule is provided to help make the first day of school go as smoothly as possible. We encourage parents to allow their eligible students to ride the first morning so they can be directed to which bus they will return home on. Additional staff will be avail¬able to aid in the student loading process. Although bus stops and times are subject to change, PSD drivers will adhere to the listed times as closely as possible. Please help your children be at the bus stop at least five minutes before the scheduled time.

Students will determine their morning and afternoon bus based on the route number. Most likely, the route number for your child’s morning bus will be different than the route number for your child’s afternoon bus. The route number will be posted in the window closest to the entrance door of each bus.

It is important for your student’s safety that his/her pick-up and drop-off location remains the same each morning and afternoon. If you need to change your student’s bus route, please call 490-3232.

Students who do not utilize transportation for 10 consecutive school days, without notifying transportation, will have their bussing eligibility cancelled. If your child is eligible for transportation but they will not be riding the bus, please contact us at transportation@psdschools.org.

If a child gets on the wrong bus, transportation will make arrangements to get the child home as quickly and safely as possible.
The posted bus schedules are current through September 2, 2011. After that, please view all bus schedules through Bus Stop, which lists accurate schedules throughout the school year. Bus Stop can be found on the PSD web site www.psdschools.org. If there are changes in your students’ pick-up or drop-off locations or times after September 2, your student will be notified.
