The Poudre School District Board of Education will conduct second interviews of two finalists for the superintendent position during a special meeting on March 11 at the Johannsen Support Services Center, 2407 LaPorte Ave. in Fort Collins.
The board will interview Dr. Todd Lambert and Dr. Sandra Smyser. This is a second interview of the candidates who were interviewed by the board and community committees on Feb. 23.
Dr. Lambert is currently the director of curriculum, instruction and assessment for PSD. Dr. Smyser is currently the superintendent of the Eagle County School District in Vail.
The board will prepare for the superintendent finalist interviews during a dinner session from 5 to 5:30 p.m. before the interviews begin. The interviews for the two candidates will be held from 5:30 to 8:15 p.m.
The board plans to deliberate beginning at 8:30 p.m. and may take possible action regarding the selection of the new superintendent.
The public is welcome to observe, but there will be no community comment. The meeting will not be televised or recorded.
