The Wellington Food Bank needs your help to provide turkeys this holiday season! Rice Elementary parents and students are encouraged to join the Turkey Roundup on Tuesday, Nov. 26 from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.
Each year the food bank provides services to hundreds of area families and children — many of them are Poudre School District students.
Students should bring the frozen turkeys to school Nov. 26. The school’s turkey wrangler will meet students at the door to collect the donated turkey and deliver it to the Wellington Food Bank. Rice Elementary will also collect canned goods that same morning.
Community members can drop off donated turkeys Nov. 26 directly at the Wellington Food Bank, located in the Wellington Community Church, 8445 Third Street in Wellington.
