Blending science, fantasy and philosophy, Madeleine L’Engle’s beloved modern classic A Wrinkle In Time is full of surprises and charming characters. Appropriate for all ages, this play is a legendary adventure that stretches across both time and space, and challenges what is real and what we believe to be real. With only three curious old women as their guides, misfit teen Meg, her reluctant boyfriend Calvin and her wise little brother Charles Wallace must step through the veil of the universe to save their family and the Earth as we know it. March 30 through April 2, the Colorado State University School of Music, Theatre and Dance, along with the Ralph Opera Center, will present A Little Night Music by Stephen Sondheim. This opera, directed by Tiffany Blake and conducted by Christopher Reed, focuses on an elite group of people living in Sweden, including a lawyer, a young virgin, and an ex-lover, who all get tangled up in the game of love.

Performances begin at 7:30 p.m., along with a matinee on April 2 at 2 p.m., in the Griffin Concert Hall at the University Center for the Arts, 1400 Remington St., Fort Collins. D’ACCORDion, a versatile trio of musicians from northern Colorado, will unleash their tuneful talents from 6 to 8 pm Friday, April 7, at the Global Village Museum of Arts and Cultures, 200 W. Mountain Ave # C, Fort Collins. Weather permitting, the free performance will be held on the museum’s outdoor patio. Laudamus Chamber Chorale, a top-quality choral group in northern Colorado, will present its spring concert on April 22 at 7 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church, 531 S. College Ave. in Fort Collins, and on April 30 at Plymouth Congregational Church, 916 W. Prospect Road. Among the highlights will be the Requiem by Gabriel Faur̕e. The touring version of the Telluride Mountainfilm festival is making a stop in Fort Collins on April 12 at 6:30 p.m. at Colorado State University’s Lory Student Center. Mountainfilm on Tour—organized locally by Net Impact-CSU—features short documentary films that take audiences from Afghanistan to mountaintops in Alaska, and inspire them to create a better world. CSU’s Avenir Museum of Design and Merchandising, 216 E. Lake St., is featuring Tying the Knot—a free exhibit of 30 historic bridal gowns worn between 1865 and 1973. The museum is open from 11 a.m to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
