Don’t miss Bas Bleu Theatre’s production of Outgoing Tide by Bruce Graham, closing Oct. 11. Directed by Deb Note-Farwell and presented in memory of Dr. Charlie Hatchett and his advocacy of death with dignity, this is a timely, sensitive drama, touched with humor, that addresses an end-of-life situation for Gunner Concannon played by Jonathan Farwell. The character’s dilemma must be solved literally and figuratively before the tide goes out in Chesapeake Bay where the story is set. The Lincoln Center’s October line-up includes: Stage Kiss by Open Stage running through Oct. 3, Turtle Island Quartet on Oct. 2, Brilliance-Masterworks #1 by Fort Collins Symphony on Oct. 3, Foothills Pops Band season opener on Oct. 4 and Marilyn:Forever Blonde, the Marilyn Monroe story in her own words and music Oct. 8-10. That’s only a start: Oct. 9-24 Open Stage presents The Submission, High Performance Dance presents Return to the Caberet Oct. 9 and 10 and Debut Theatre is doing The Boxcar Children, Oct. 16 through 24. Recycle Percussion performs Oct. 11. Ballet Hispanico takes the stage Oct. 20, there’s an ArtWear Fashion Show Oct. 23, Black Violin performs Oct. 24 and Larimer Chorale offers a Mozart Requiem Oct. 23 and 24. The Lysander Piano Trio with Mischa Bouvier plays Oct. 28 and the Local Link featuring Aspen Hourglass, presented by Spokesbuzz and the Lincoln Center, rounds out the month on Oct. 29.

The Lincoln Center Box Office at 417 W. Magnolia in Fort Collins is open 12- 6 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday and one hour prior to each performance. Tickets can be purchased online at LCTIX.com, by phone, 970-221-6730, or in person at the box office. Handling fees vary based on ticket price. Patrons with hearing impairments and mobility issues are accommodated.

Candlelight Dinner Theatre 4747 Marketplace Drive, Johnstown, presents West Side Story through Nov. 15. An all-time favorite musical and love story that never grows old. The show’s the thing, but check out this dinner menu!
