The Rocky Mountain Raptor Program is hosting their annual Mother’s Day Open House, on Saturday, May 7. Rocky Mountain Raptor Program is located at 720 E. Vine Drive and the open house will run from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will be live birds of prey on display, a gift shop with raptor related merchandise, as well as a variety of educational displays. Displays will focus on the causes and types of injuries suffered by birds of prey, what the program does to facilitate in the rehabilitation of these injured birds, and teaches the public about the facility’s foster program which is designed to pair up babies with foster moms. This family friendly event is free to the public, but donations are welcome and are critical to keep the program running.
