How often do venue owners host a night to show their fans how much they appreciate them? Not very. But local music venue Hodi’s Half Note will do just that on July 7, throwing an all-out bash that will prove to all the local music lovers just how much they mean to the music community. Members of well-known funk group The Motet will play a tribute concert to Herbie Hancock, which will prove to be a night of funky grooves to remember. $5 gets you in, and the fun starts at 8pm with $1 PBR’s and $2 micro brews specials which will continue throughout the evening.
