This is the month for pumpkins and goblins. The following is a schedule of events for October.
Oct. 3: Membership meeting, 10:30 a.m. We will celebrate October birthdays, and after lunch we will take a tour of the Swetsville Zoo in Fort Collins.

Oct. 5: Blood pressures taken from 11 a.m. to noon. Flu shots will also be available.
Oct. 7: SALT meeting with local law enforcement officers.
Oct. 13: Men’s luncheon out. Leave the center at 10:30 a.m.
Oct. 14: Bunko, 1 to 4 p.m.
Oct. 15: The bus will take ladies to the Lavender and Lace Tea House in Evans.
Oct. 20: Members will head to Cheyenne for lunch at Little America, leaving the center at 10:30 a.m.
Oct. 21: Foot care, beginning at 8 a.m. Contact Trudy for scheduling, and please bring a towel.
Oct. 27: Bingo, 1 to 4 p.m. Bring a snack to share and a white elephant gift.
Each Wednesday, the Four Star Band plays from 10:30 a.m. to noon.
Meals are served each Monday, Wednesday and Friday at noon, and meals are also delivered to the homebound. To join us for lunch, please call the Volunteers of America between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. the day before at 970-472-9630.
The center is considering taking members of the community to Fort Collins twice monthly, on Thursday, for doctor appointments and shopping. Please call Trudy if you are interested.
