Wellington turns into one giant Back to School Garage Sale on Saturday, Aug. 25. From 6 a.m. to 2 p.m., there will be garage sales in every part of town, plus sales booths set up in Centennial Park at 3815 Harrison Ave., one block north of Cleveland Ave. Maps available bright and early at Centennial Park.

Meet your local birds of prey on Saturday at an open house at the Rocky Mountain Raptor Program facility at 720 E. Vine Drive, 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Volunteers will be on hand to answer questions about how the program cares for injured birds so they can return to the skies and other wildlife preservation projects.
