Obituary: Myrna Francine “Frankie” Folger

Myrna Francine “Frankie” Folger was born to Frank and Florice Gueswel on April 7, 1936, in Fort Collins. She grew up in the Poudre Canyon. Myrna attended Poudre Park Elementary and graduated from Cache La Poudre High in 1955. She worked at various restaurants in the Poudre Canyon.

Myrna married John “Eddie” Folger on July 29, 1955. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who devoted her time taking care of her family. She was a homemaker and did childcare. Myrna also worked alongside her parents, running a fishing worm business for different resorts up the Poudre. She enjoyed camping with Eddie and her family. She loved attending the numerous sporting events that her grandchildren were involved in.

Myrna was content and happy enjoying life the last 23 years on the ranch on Livermore.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Florice Gueswel and her brother, Jim Gueswel.

Myrna is survived by her husband of 61½ years; daughter, Jonnette; son, Quint (Patti); 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
