Wellington United Methodist Fellowship will welcome a new pastor to its pulpit on July 1. Rev. Bryson Lillie replaces Rev. Susan Warren, who has served the church for three and one-half years. She is moving to Denver to work as a hospice chaplain.
Rev. Lillie, a Loveland native, graduated from the University of Northern Colorado and from Saint Paul School of Theology in Kansas City, Mo. He is currently associate pastor at First United Methodist Church in Fort Collins. Under a new partnership arrangement, he will serve both First United Methodist and Wellington Fellowship beginning in July. “We will be one church with multiple expressions,” Rev. Lillie stated.
“I’m very excited to have this opportunity,” Rev. Lillie said of his new post in Wellington. “I’m looking forward to seeing what God has in store for me and the community of Wellington.”
Rev. Lillie and his wife Sarah live in north Fort Collins. He can be reached at 970-482-2436.
