BBB gives Front Range Brew Tours an 'F'

A company called Front Range Brew Tours, which lists a Fort Collins address on papers filed with the Colorado Secretary of State’s office, is racking up Better Business Bureau complaints from consumers who say they paid for tour passes to breweries in lower downtown Denver but were stood up by the business.

Complainants state that they purchased passes and either couldn’t ever make a reservation or did make a reservation but when they waited at Union Station to be picked up for the tour, no one ever came. Due to these issues, sightseers say they have tried to contact the company several times for a refund and have been unsuccessful.

Many say they purchased their passes through a Denver Daily Deals promotion. At least one of those complainants was refunded for the passes he bought through Denver Daily Deals but says the ones he bought directly from the company have not been refunded. The business responded to one complaint in July but so far, the other nine that have been filed have not been responded to.

“What is so concerning to the BBB about this company is that they continue to offer and take payments on their website for these tours, while at the same time, consumers continue to complain that no one is showing up to provide this service,” said Dale Mingilton, president and CEO of the BBB Serving Denver/Boulder.

Front Range Brew Tours’ own Facebook page contains posts from angry customers.

The BBB has requested a meeting with this business to discuss its pattern of complaints. The company has currently earned itself an F rating with the BBB.

Consumers making purchases online are encouraged to research companies very carefully before making any decisions. Your research should include checking with the BBB by visiting www.denver.bbb.org.
