Chapel in the Pines is throwing a party to celebrate its 50 years of community worship and you’re invited. Enjoy a community picnic meal, some entertainment, a concert and ice cream on July 20, then help launch the beginning of the Chapel’s next 50 years with a special service on July 21 that will feature many of the Chapel’s past and present visiting pastors.
Tracing its roots to a small building (now the “Red Feather Mall”) near the south end of Ramona Lake, today Chapel in the Pines operates a large, modern Fellowship Hall, remodeled chapel and manse for visiting pastors at 23947 County Rd. 74E (Red Feather Lakes Road) in Red Feather Lakes.
For 50 years, the Chapel’s stated mission has been to “provide the opportunity for people to unite in worship, fellowship, education and service.” The Chapel’s unique, interdenominational approach to worship encompasses a wide variety of Christian philosophies. All people of all Christian faiths, in fact, all people, are welcome at the Chapel.
We hope you take this opportunity to come celebrate with us. We’ll be re-living some of the Chapel’s remarkable history as we step into the Chapel’s exciting future.
