What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas, but first you
have to get there. Chipper’s Lanes on North College
is putting on a karaoke contest every Sunday evening
starting March 1, with the final round to be held
Sunday April 26. Each contest will be judged based
on three criteria: vocal ability, showmanship, and
song delivery. Each category has a scale rating and all
scores will be tallied at the end of the night. The top
two contestants each week will advance on to the
final round where they will compete for the grand
prize: a free trip for two to Las Vegas! There will be
prizes for every entry, including concert tickets for
the top two winners and a gift certificate for third
place. Signup starts Sunday evenings at 8:30, and
you can stretch those vocal cords during the warm
up session from 9:00 to 9:30. For more information,
