Sierra’s Race Against Meningitis

 Sierras-Race-

June 1st 8:30a, The Ranch @ The Budweiser Event Center

Sierra Marie Krizman’s parents started Sierra’s Race Against Meningitis after this silent killer took their beloved daughter in 2007. Sierra’s Race aims to spread awareness not only to parents and children but also to institutions that have the ability, and responsibility, to fund treatments for medical emergencies such as these. Aside from a daylong celebration of Sierra’s life, the inspirational Amy Purdy, who lost her legs to meningitis, will be speaking about the success of recovering and building her dreams of being a professional snowboarder. The 5k Run/Walk begins at 8:30a, pre-registration is $22 for adults and $10 for children, which includes a T-shirt for the cause. Pre-registration closes May 29th at 6p and day of race registration requires additional $10. To view Sierra’s full story and details about how to donate for the cause and participate in the race please visit www.sierrasraceagainstmeningitis.com.
