Larimer County releases updated Emergency Preparedness Guide

Larimer County has released the newly updated Emergency Preparedness Guide for Larimer County, in digital form at www.larimer.org/emergency.

This guide is the first step in a new preparedness program being built to help community members become better prepared for the challenges and hazards we face with our diverse seasons.

The Emergency Preparedness Guide, now available online on the Larimer County Website, www.larimer.org/emergency, is one segment of a larger offering for citizens. This site will be updated over the coming months to provide information on all four phases of emergency management: updated preparedness information; hazard mitigation tips and tools; response actions and notifications; and recovery updates and initiatives. The county also plans to have a print version of the new guide in coming months.

For more information on the Emergency Preparedness Guide or for any emergency management questions, please visit the Office of Emergency Management website at www.larimer.org/emergency or contact the Director, Lori Hodges, at 970-498-7147.
