Larimer County government’s Community Report is being distributed in local newspapers this week. The 6-page colorful brochure summarizes how all 300,000+ citizens in Larimer County benefit, directly and indirectly, from the services Larimer County provides, whether you live inside or outside a city/town limits. The brochure also shows how Larimer County gets the most out of available revenues through innovation and efficiencies.
In addition to hard-copy distribution, the 2013 Community report is available on the County’s web site, the Virtual Courthouse, at www.larimer.org/communityreport along with a new video on County services.
County Budget Director Bob Keister, who was part of the project will use the brochure in his daily county job, “”It’s a great ‘queue card’ showing the connection between county services and the desirable place in which we want to live, work and play. The topics and statistics are excellent starters for discussions on the role of the county government in making Larimer County what it is today and what it might be in the future. I intend to use it when I talk to anyone about county services.”
