After an eight-year recording hiatus, Leftover Salmon recently released their self-titled 2004 album as a digital download for the first time to run in conjunct with their upcoming Spring 2014 tour starting in California with sold-out shows. They are stopping in Fort Collins for a couple dates at The Aggie on April 18 & 19 as they head east to wrap up in May. With a history that started in Boulder of 1989, they added a new flavor to bluegrass as they spiced up their music with percussion and became leaders of the jam grass genre. The five-member group will also be performing outside Cervantes Masterpiece in Denver on April 20. Tickets for the Fort Collins shows are available at www.leftoversalmon.com or at www.theaggietheater.com.
