Recently logging over 8,000 miles from a Northwest Tour, Michael Kirkpatrick walked into venues, played his music, met fellow musicians and grew his audience with leaps and bounds as he promoted his most recent release, Key To My Cage. Kirkpatrick has won numerous awards including “Best Folk/Singer Songwriter Album 2013”, “Honorable Mention” from over 800 submissions for the Telluride Trobadour Competition, and “Best Male Singer-Songwriter FoCoMA Peer Awards”. Now back home in Fort Collins and after playing his first gig of the year at Cranknstein’s for St. Patty’s Day, Kirkpatrick is kicking off this year’s FoCoMX6 lineup at Equinox Brewing on April 25 at 3:30pm. You can also see Kirkpatrick and his bandmates, The Holler!, at Hodi’s Half Note winding up FoCoMX6 starting at midnight.
