A legislative forum focused on education issues will be held Monday, Dec. 12, from 7 to 9 p.m., at the Poudre School District service center at 2407 Laporte Ave. State legislators and representatives of federal lawmakers will be on hand for the discussion and to take questions from the public.
State Sen. Bob Bacon and Reps. Randy Fischer and John Kefalas are scheduled to attend the forum. U.S. Sen. Michael Bennet will be represented by his Deputy Chief of Staff Sarah Hughes, while U.S. Rep. Cory Gardner’s office will be represented by Area Director Michael Bennett.
With the upcoming shift of Larimer County from the Fourth to the Second Congressional District, U.S. Rep. Jared Polis has been invited to the forum.
Nancy Tellez, president of the PSD Board of Education, will also be on the panel.
