Masks at MOA

Masks
The 10th Annual Masks fundraiser at the Fort Collins Museum of Art opens the first Friday of April. Celebrating the creativity and generosity of Northern Colorado, this is the museum’s most successful fundraiser of the year. About 200 local artists, students and community members turn a simple white ceramic mask into one-of-a-kind tangible representations of their creative talents. These creations are displayed in a month-long exhibit and silent auction held at the museum, in the heart of Old Town. Bidding begins on April 4, accompanied by a gala and live auction of signature pieces on April 19 at the Embassy Suites in Loveland. The silent auction closes during the First Friday Gallery Walk in May. All proceeds go directly to the art museum and assist in funding future exhibits. Masks at MOA is truly a community event in the sense that local artists create the art. Find more information at www.ftcma.org.
