Amici Pizzeria

At the beginning of the year, a new centrally located Italian-style pizzeria opened with family recipes, warm hospitality and a lot of heart. Owners Justin Betz and Biagio Scotto take pride in what they serve. The extensive menu at Amici includes calzoni, panini, pasta, pizza, salads, and house made desserts. They also offer a gluten free crust and the unique Italian pastry, sfogliatelle (you’ll need to ask them how to pronounce this)! While I was there, I enjoyed the best slice of Margarita pizza in Fort Collins, with a generous amount of basil, a crispy crust, fresh sauce and the perfect amount of mozzarella.  As soon as you walk through the doors, you are surrounded by photographs of the Italian Rivera taken by Biagio himself during his trips to Italy. Amici is located close to campus and open 7 days a week.  As their name suggests, when you dine at Amici, you’re “friends.”
