Colorado Iron & Metal, in business in Fort Collins since 1995, has moved to a new, larger location. Formerly located on East Mulberry Street, the scrap metal business is now at 903 Buckingham St., just off North Lemay between Lincoln and Vine.
The recycling business shares space with the company’s metal fabrication facility built a few years ago. “This move was a long-term goal for us,” said company vice-president Dan Garvin. “We’re looking to the future, and we want to strategically place ourselves in this community for the next 50 years.”
Colorado Iron & Metal accepts all scrap metal including aluminum, stainless steel and brass. Items such as appliances, cars, copper wire and tubing can be recycled there. The company serves industrial, commercial and residential customers throughout Colorado and Wyoming.
Colorado Iron & Metal also offers metal fabrication along with welding, bending and shearing.
