Wellington Zumba supports health and well-being

Laurie Dixon satisfies her passion for dance and helping people through her Zumba and Zumba Toning classes.

“It’s not about money, it’s about laughter, singing and enjoying ourselves,” said Laurie. “In addition you are burning fat, calories, getting a full body workout and forming friendships.”

Being a breast cancer survivor, Laurie is committed to supporting health and well-being in Wellington and the surrounding communities. Laurie knows life is too short to be stressed.

“Sometimes we need a break from daily pressures” she said. “Zumba is a way to let your hair down, enjoy a party atmosphere and get a great workout!”

Class times: Tuesday and Thursdays, 6-7 p.m. and Saturdays (Toning), 8:30-9:30 a.m.

Cost: 10-class punch card is $25 (students only $15). Drop-in: $4. First class is free and no club fees!
Location: Wellington United Methodist Fellowship, 8251 Wellington Blvd. in Wellington.
