The third annual Patriot Picnic will be held Sunday, Sept. 16, 11 a.m.-2 p.m., at Spring Canyon Park, 2626 W Horsetooth Road, Fort Collins, near the new Veterans Plaza. In addition to free hamburgers and hot dogs, representatives of local veterans’ service organizations will be on hand to explain the many benefits and programs available to help Northern Colorado veterans transition back into the civilian world.
This event is about veterans helping veterans and is open to all veterans, active duty military personnel, reservists, families, and friends. It is organized and presented by the Larimer County Veteran Advisory Group.
