Boomers & Beyond seminar for job seekers

“Boomers & Beyond: How to Be Irresistible to Employers!”, a seminar for job seekers over 50 years old, is set for Friday, September 28, 8 a.m.-5 p.m., at the Larimer County Courthouse Offices, 200 W. Oak St., Fort Collins.

The seminar includes four local experts on mature job hunting. Betsey Hale, Economic Development Director for the City of Loveland, will present the economic outlook for Northern Colorado; Alan Sherwood, president of Sherwood Consulting Service Inc., will talk about Benefits of Being a Boomer: Tips for Triumph; Colorado State University professor Rich Feller will discuss career development for Boomers; and Carrie Pinsky, PHR Human Resources & Recruitment Specialist, will offer “Beyond the Talk: Taking Action to Move Forward.”

There will also be a panel discussion with HR professionals from the Northern Colorado Human Resource Association, and staff will be on hand to review resumes or share interviewing techniques. Boomers & Beyond is presented by the Larimer County Workforce Center and the NCHRA.

The $39 registration fee includes coffee and pastries; pre-registration is required.
