The holidays are just around the corner and all of downtown is preparing for Santa’s arrival. Jolly old St. Nick will make his first appearance at Old Town Square in a horse drawn carriage at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 17, 2012. Get into the holiday spirit by dressing up in elf caps or your holiday costume to greet Santa and join him as he parades around downtown. Santa will be listening to children’s holiday wishes until 6:00 p.m. that day. All of the day’s activities are FREE and open to the public. Santa Workshop hours are as follows: 12p.m. – 6p.m. Wednesday through Sunday from November 17 to December 24. The Downtown Business Association will be offering holiday activities for kids to do with Santa this year, including “Storytime with Santa” where Santa reads stories every Thursday and Friday at 11:30 a.m. at Downtown’s Clothes Pony Store.
