
This Valentine’s Day, take a trip around the world with the vivid and beautiful imagery of local photographer, Joe Coca. Through February 27, Global Village Museum of Arts and Cultures located at 200 West Mountain Ave, is featuring “Global Lens of Fine Photography” a series of inspiring images taken from around the world. Coca, a CSU Journalism graduate, has been a professional photographer for more than 30 years. Originally,
from Weston, a small Southern Colorado town in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, Coca’s rst experiences with photography were through his mother, an ardent amateur photographer, and a classmate of his who also liked photography. After graduating from CSU, Joe Coca moved to L.A. and studied photography
at the Art Center College of Design. Today, as a commercial photographer, Joe Coca captures the images of the people he meets, the places he travels on assignment, and the beautiful world of textiles.
