Do you have a knack for telling a scary story? Then you should submit one of those stories to the 2013 Short, Short Spooky Story Contest at the Poudre River Public Library District! The contest is for ages 6 and older and the complete rules and such can be found at www.poudrelibraries.org
The winners will be announced at our “Spooky Stories in Library Park” program on Oct. 25 in the haunted Library Park cabins…where you’ll have a chance to hear some great storytellers share their favorite spooky stories as well. Winners will receive cash prizes and every story will be included in our ebook “Short, Short Spooky Stories” which will be available on our website.
There’s still time to submit your story – the deadline is Oct. 18 at midnight. That’s right, the witching hour. Get creative, get published, and maybe even get paid for your short short spooky story! You know you want to scare our britches off so now’s your chance.
