Street maintenance work to begin on Overland Trail on Oct. 14

Overland Trail from Mulberry Street to Drake Road, and continuing south to Spring Canyon Community Park, has been selected for resurfacing as part of the City of Fort Collins 2013 Street Maintenance Program. The second and final phase of construction will begin Oct. 14 and last approximately eight days.

Overland Trail will remain open during the resurfacing; however, delays may occur up to 30 minutes as the operation passes side streets and entrances. Access to businesses will be maintained at all times.

Project dates are estimates based on favorable conditions; variances may occur due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.

Typical working hours are weekdays from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., however work may occur outside these times or on the weekends to expedite construction. Lane closures will be used in most locations; alternate routes are suggested to avoid the construction zones. Please carefully follow the flaggers’ directions at all times and proceed with caution.

Thank you in advance for your patience. For more information about the Street Maintenance Program, and to sign up for project updates via email, please visit fcgov.com/smp.
