VanCo School of Art opened 2011 in the Penny Flats building on Mason Street and has been successful at teaching both adults and children oil painting and figure drawing. “Our purpose is to promote a return of training, standards and excellence in the visual arts.” We want to offer a nourishing environment for each artist. Enrollment is open to children five years old and up. Our portfolio classes are focused on teens and young adults looking to forward their art careers and have strong portfolios for their college applications.”
As the Artery becomes a hub for arts and culture, the move offers an exciting union for the advancement of art education in Northern Colorado.
VanCo School is owned and operated by Coleen “Coco” Cosner of Coco Artist Studio in Old Town Square. All skill levels are welcome.
Enrollment is ongoing and open to the community.
Classes are set to resume at the new location on Monday January 4th, 2016. www.vancoschool.com
