The annual Christmas Tree Lighting takes place at 7 p.m. tonight at the Leeper Center, 3800 Wilson Ave. in Wellington. The event is sponsored by the Community Activities Commission, the library and the senior center.

The Christmas Parade starts Saturday at 5 p.m. on Cleveland Ave. Wellington. It is sponsored by the Community Activities Commission.
