At approximately 4 p.m. today, the Larimer County Sheriff’s Office was notified of a single vehicle accident near the intersection of West County Road 54G and Pueblo Drive in LaPorte. The accident involved a side-by-side Utility Task Vehicle.
The Larimer County Sheriff’s Office, Poudre Fire Authority, Poudre Valley ambulance and the Colorado State Patrol responded to the scene and found a juvenile male, who was riding in the U.T.V., deceased due to injuries sustained in the accident. The driver of the U.T.V., who was also a juvenile male, was uninjured.
The incident is still under investigation so no further information will be available this evening; however, drugs and alcohol do not appear to be a factor in the accident.
