Every year there are a handful of people setting off illegal fireworks within the city limits. This is a dangerous and irresponsible decision. Not only does it pose a risk of fire, but it is frightening to many pets.
There are areas outside of the city that fireworks are legal and I would encourage those who purchase and want to enjoy their own fireworks to find an area that accommodates this.
Let’s be responsible and considerate of our fellow neighbors and community.
