The Wellington Area Chamber of Commerce is hosting the 1st Annual Disc Golf Tournament Saturday, Aug. 23 at the Wellington Disc Golf Course adjacent to Rice Elementary School at Third and Mount Oxfort streets in Wellington.
This is a singles tournament (versus a team tournament) and all experience levels of disc golfers are invited. There are beginner and experienced divisions and the competition will feature two rounds of 18 holes with top-place prizes for each division.
Check-in and registration is at 8 a.m. with first round set to begin at 9 a.m. The entry fee is $20 and advance registration can be done through PayPal at wellingtoncoloradochamber.net.
Proceeds help the Wellington Area Chamber of Commerce reach out to more business owners and grow membership.
