Body recovered at Seaman Reservoir

On June 12 at approximately 7:19 p.m., the Larimer County Sheriff’s Office received reports that a group of people were cliff diving at Seaman Reservoir north of Highway 14 and west of Highway 287. One person fell off a cliff, went into the water and could not be located.

Members of LCSO Emergency Services, Larimer County Dive Rescue Team, LCSO Patrol and Poudre Fire Authority responded to the scene.

Over an hour later, the body of a 22-year-old male from Highlands Ranch was recovered in Seaman Reservoir by the Larimer County Dive Rescue Team. The Larimer County Coroner’s Office was contacted and responded to the scene.

The coroner’s office will release the identity of the man as well as manner and cause of death at a later time. No further information is available at this time.
